In January 2016 LUMICKS installed a C-Trap™ Correlative Optical Tweezers Fluorescence microscope at the BIOCEV Biotechnology and Biomedicine Centre of the Academy of Sciences and Charles University in Vestec. Acquired by the research group of Dr. Zdeněk Lánský, the C-Trap™ is used to study molecular motors and structural proteins that form the cell’s cytoskeletal network.
